Hello World!

This is my first post in the world of blogging! I feel like I am way behind the world and have somewhat failed my obligation as a mother to update and share our family news in such a wonderful way. I LOVE reading other people's blogs, and think it is such a great way to keep in touch with family and friends. I hope I can keep faithful readers with interesting posts. However, I really don't think this will be much of a problem. Our daughter, Sydney (22 months), is at such a fun age, there is never a dull moment in our house!

First of all, I would like to expand on the meaning of the title I chose for our blog, "Where the Green Grass Grows." Obviously, owning a turfgrass company weighed heavily in the title decision. Our business is such a big part of our lives and we strive to grow green grass....not brown grass! :) Additionally and more importantly, Kris and I feel so happy to be blessed with our beautiful daughter, Sydney, and a Baby Boy on the way. Our children bring us so much joy and give us such purpose in our lives. All it takes is one sparkly grin from Sydney or one strong kick from baby and our day is complete! Green grass is a positive and beautiful sign of nature. It's a symbol of growth and prosperity. We feel blessed to have green grass growing all year long!
